NEtWORK

We empower Indigenous and traditional communities to restore degraded land in Brazil.

RAIN has changed how we work.

This website presents the projects we started and were involved with from 2017 to 2025. We are proud of all of them, and continue to support those that are still ongoing.

It showcases the philosophy of regeneration that we developed and still adhere to. Please look around, and see how we think regen should be done - holistically, community-led, future-focused and transformative at every level of society.

We need a complete shift in how we approach regeneration, from our soil to our politics.

Simply put, if the economy supports war, it’s not regenerative (even if the soldiers are vegan).

Our network

We facilitate direct partnerships for meaningful change between people on the front line facing the impacts of ecosystem disruption and people who want to support them to adapt and thrive in the changing climate.

Our mycelial mission

RAIN is a mutual aid organisation inspired by the efficiency and harmony found in nature's interconnected systems, from the coordination of ants and bees to the vast mycelial networks beneath our forests. Just like the web of fungal threads that allows trees to trade resources and information, we are building a network of communication, support and resilience.

Indigenous people make up less than 5% of the World's Population while protecting 80% of its biodiversity.

Brazilian rainforests are the most biodiverse places in the world. An estimated 16,000 tree species and over 390 billion individual trees need protecting.
